In two weeks, AROMAGENESIS ESRs and PIs will represent the project and introduce their results during the 7th Conference on Physiology of Yeasts and Filamentous Fungi. The conference that will take place in Milan (Italy), on the 24-27th of June 2019.
Prof. Daniela Delneri will present a talk on " Phenotypic variation in yeast hybrids of biotechnological importance."
Prof. Jurgen Wendland will talk about " Multi-omics characterization of Saccharomycopsis yeasts, the unique fungal predators."
These talks will take place on the 24th of June, during Session I.
Our colleagues will take part in the MSCA ITN joint session, together with YEASTDOC and PAcMEN on the 26th of June, during Session VII.
Irene de Guidi will present a talk on "Genetic analysis of excessive production of H2S in the presence of S02, during winemaking".
Dolores Perez will talk about "Differential nitrogen utilization and aroma production of commercial and wild Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast during growth and alcoholic fermentation".
Furthermore, the young scientist will take part in the poster session presentation and showcase their results during the conference.
Beatrice Bernardi will present a poster titled "Breaking the walls for lager yeast genome editing", while Federico Visinoni will introduce his results on the poster titled "Selection of bespoke high-growth rate yeast strains in a selection of environments." Sebastian Tapia will present his poster on "Identification of species-specific genetics determinants of flavour compounds by comparative genome analysis", and Rafael Jiménez Lorenzo will showcase his results with a poster titled "Environmental conditions modulate the production of volatile sulfur compounds during wine fermentation."
